Only because R is meant to do computations/statistics and I thought perhaps what you have could fit into that. Naturally, if the code is Matlab only then I guess it does not apply. I'd also presume that it'd be much easier to run R script in multiple machines also, similar to any other Unix script, no GUI needed. I'm not sure whether you can do the same with Matlab script. -- Chris
You can run Matlab without a gui. Just disable java and the gui when starting matlab. Used to do that all the time in school. =)
