Hi All.

Definitely tounge in cheek. Sounds interesting. I had not heard about the event until today. Thanks Cheng for the post about it (also went to SLMG?).

I really like the idea of C, kernel hacking (actually at the moment I've got a bit of a taste for GPU coding with OpenGL and CUDA).

Oh, I hope there aren't any Haskell programmers going, who likes lazy functional programmers ...., just kidding ;)

Michael.

PS. Sorry Chew, for accidentally moderating your message (explanation for the re-post as I was a bit trigger happy on the list queue).

Hi guys

The date and venue's set for our first HackathonSG.

Date: 16th April 2010
Time: 7pm onwards
Venue: HackerspaceSG, 70A Bussorah Street
Price: Free + food & drinks provided

Come take part in the geekiest event in town and help make it an
awesome hack party.

Seems still all "ruby & web". Web is too easy, I'm longing some real
hack in linux kernel level or some C low level work, for long term;

I still don't understand why HackerspaceSG exclude OCaml? Is it
deliberately? Why? Previously we SMU research staff finish binary
obfuscation projects through OCaml programming,

and recent period working on GCC-4.5 plugin framework, it's latest
real hack, on compilers,
