It seems to me that it depends which version of exchange and which version
of the mapi library. At my company, we switched to exchange 2007 and what
used to work perfectly was now upsetting all linux developers. We resorted
in running virtual machines, which is not really a solution cause you still
need a license. If somebody can point me out to an open source solution that
supports mails, contact, calendars and meetings from exchange 2007, i'm also
interested. Last time I tried evolution - last year? - it did not cut it.
May be I should try again.
