This whole year I've been away from home and have seen and experienced
a lot of things. Among them, I have come to see that the entire
third-world will take many, many more years to embrace Cloud
Computing. Desktop and offline systems are still important home and
office appliances.

I for one will stay away from these so-called "web platforms" for the
foreseeable future, because my data is mine alone and I'm not going to
"put 'em all online" - ever.
