I installed SLURM on a Scientific Linux 6.4 system (64bit)
One issue is that there was no slurm executable in the /etc/init.d
I'm installing slurm on a single machine

Typing in slurmctld started up the controller daemon
However, when I type in slurmd I get the following error :

slurmd: CPU frequency setting not configured for this node
slurmd: error: chmod(/var/spool/slurmd, 0755): Operation not permitted
slurmd: error: Unable to initialize slurmd spooldir
slurmd: error: slurmd initialization failed

I've attached the slurm.conf file

Attachment: slurm.conf
Description: Binary data
