Dear All, I am new to slurm. I have set up a cluster with 8 compute nodes. Due to some reasons, our system admin does not want to open all ports among these 8 nodes.
I did some research: it seems that I can open certain MPI ports and then restrict srun to use these ports (e.g., by "srun --resv-port"). However, I wonder if there is a way to config "srun" so that it is restricted to a range of ports (without requiring MPI support)? Best, Yun
