Are you building the RPMs? I had the same problem (after building
and installing the RPMs) a few weeks ago, and it was helpfully
suggested that you can add:
%with_cflags CFLAGS='-g -O0'
to your .rpmmacros file, then rebuild the RPMs.
If you aren't building RPMs, then you can set the CFLAGS variable
before ./configure
