[slurm-dev] XDG_RUNTIME_DIR does not exist with interactive srun terminal

slurm version: 15.08.8
OS: CentOS 7.2

srun --pty bash

returns a terminal where /run/user/*userid* (i.e. $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR) does
not exist.

just checking if this is an issue with:
1. this version
2. this OS
3. our specific installation

or if this is intended behavior as of this version.
