I don't think blast is something that can run across nodes (or at least it didn't used to be). There is/was something called "mpiblast" that could do that.
If you'll excuse the plug this sounds like a good question for the Beowulf list https://www.beowulf.org/ which is a more general purpose cluster computing list (disclaimer: I'm the caretaker of it these days).
