QA/QC Line Inspector
POSITION SUMMARY
The QA Inspector/Analyst is responsible for the physical and chemical analyses
of all incoming raw and packaging materials, in-process and finished products.
He/she conducts warehouse inspection and gives recommendation on proper
material disposition and helps in the implementation of QA-related activities.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs line inspection and monitoring of production line assigned;
Conducts physical and chemical analysis following a specified checking
frequency, for WIP and finished product samples from production; evaluates
result of analysis against standard specification
Coordinates with Production Operators/Supervisors, QA Supervisor and/or QA
Manager on any issues related to personnel hygiene, GMP, sanitation and
cleanliness in the production line, off-standard quality products,
off-specification process parameters and WIP or finished products either on
hold or rejected.
Analyzes potential problems, determines possible cause of defects and makes
necessary recommendations.
Monitors and revalidates raw material stocks and finished goods.
Follows good manufacturing practices, safety procedures and company rules and
regulations.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in all laboratories
Protects laboratory equipment, glasswares and documents.
Performs other tasks assigned by his/her superior.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Must be an S1 graduate of either Chemistry, Food Technology, Food
Science or Chemical Engineering;
Experience - Fresh graduate or with at least one (1) year working experience as
QA inspector/Analyst in a food processing company.
Communication Skills - High Level of communication skills required to interface
across all inter-departmental personnel.
Other Skills - Must be familiar with laboratory apparatus and their
applications; can diligently follow specific instructions; ability to write
reports and procedures; ability to effectively present information and respond
to questions from supervisors and plant operators;
Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts,
and draw valid conclusions.
Attitude - With initiative and is willing to work on shifting schedule and
render overtime work when necessary.
