Maruthi Suzuki's sales up by 15% in April Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported a 15.09% increase in sales during April at 71,748 vehicles as against 62,336 units in the same month last year. In the domestic market, sales grew by 9% at 64,857 units as against 59,539 units in April last year, while exports grew by 146% at 6,891 units as against 2,797 units last year.
Airtel all set to reach 100m users in Few weeks. Bharti Airtel is set to become the first Indian operator with 100 million subscribers nationwide, in all probability within a few weeks. Bharti's overall subscriber base was 96.6 million. After including the subscribers added in April, its total subscriber base is expected to hit 99 million. Bharti added 32.5 million subscribers in 2008-09 with an average of 2.7 million subscribers per month.
