Arc antennas have about the best type of mounting system I've seen. It would be nice to use something like that.

The mount needs a pivot point screw and a vertical adjustment screw to prevent rotation. You can do it with a single u-bolt and a slotted mount! The Tranzeo mount is an example of a nice, simple design that works well.
