I have to build a solar powered "relay" in my backhaul. There's no way to do a single hop from provider to me. So, using power consumption as a BIG factor (the more power it takes, the more solar panels and batteries it takes, which are expensive), what equipment would you use? The long leg is ~20 miles, the short part is under 2, and needs to act as an AP.
I have been investigating the power consumption characteristics of a variety of choices, and the SB equipment seems to be most power efficient, Alvarion the least.
