I currently have a unit doing this... It will also only send out 1 RF
packet... and that happens to be a Beacon... after that, it won't send out
any packets...

It shows that it's getting rf packets just fine... But won't send... and
the Ethernet port keeps doing what you are seeing. It disconnects about
every 100 seconds or so, and then right away I get a "Connected at 10mbit"
message. Hooking it into a hub does the same thing. I can see the hub's
link light flash on and off about the same time..

Subject: [smartBridges] ABO---very weird

We have a demo unit that consits of a laptop, ABO, and an antenna. The last
two days we have been in the field, we are seeing something very
strange...the
ABO keeps cycling our network connection. Not power cycling, but rather
disconnected, connected, disconnected, connected, etc, etc. Thinking it was
the ABO, we replaced it with a different one. Same thing. Funny thing is
these units were working just a few days before.

I wonder if it could be the laptop's network card or something? Or how
'bout
the ethernet cable???

Anyone ran into this before?

Thanks,

JOHN
