Using airPointPRO(firmware 1.4j.6) and airBridge(0.01.04) does support the PPPOE using RASPPoE client and there are some problems with winXP's native PPPoE client, Our development team is working on this issue. The Mikrotik ver.2.7 tested with airBridge and airPointPRO. Please take note the MTU for the PC Ethernet port to use with PPPoE is set to 1492. Mikrotik V2.7 PPPoE Server ---->APP--->AB----RASPPPoE Clients There are 2 conditions to make this to work: 1) The airBridge has to be connected at the location with PPPoE client PC 2) If AP is airPoint/Pro, the Non "Non-IP Traffic" has to be checked/allowed

Hi, I have set up a PPPOE server on mikrotik, v.2.7, I can log in with a client under 95,98,2000,XP & router..... However I'm on a wired Lan. If I go wireless, I cannot log. I cannot log using Airbridge client or WB320. I did not try anything else. I will try it with APP set up has client to see. My questions are ???? What firmware I should use on my APP access point. What firmware I should use on my Airbridge indoor. What firmware I should use on my Airbridge oudoor. What firmware I should use on my APP set up has client. Could it be possible for smartbridge to have a software or firmware which would enable me to authorize an AirBridge with PPPOE. ????..... Maybe it's a bad idea.
