I am upgrading one of my WiPoPs today from a 7.5 db omni to a 12 db omni. I don’t want to crawl into the
attic of this building to unplug the unit if I don’t have to. If it were a new aPPo,
I could just disconnect the Cat5…but it is not. Is it possible to disconnect my current
antenna and swap it with the other (disconnect time ~3 minutes) without
damaging the radio (aPPo)?? My radio maintenance days (Air Force) tell
me not to do this…too much reflected power could blow the amp circuit. sB….what do you
think?? Thanks, Sully |
