Subject: [smartBridges] basic fcc "system certification" question

hopefully i won't be pummelled to harshly for asking such a basic
question. i am in the US and am evaluating the airpoint pro outdoor
product; can i use antennas other than those listed as officially
certified [1], as long as i say under the 36dBm EIRP limit? in my case
i'd like to use a 120 degree sector, but there aren't any on the list.
my understanding is that the smarbridge products are "system certified"
which means i can't just willy nilly mix and match antennas and radios,
but i'll be the first to admit that my understanding is a little thin.
