That math sounds right to me.

Attn sB: I would be a big buyer of 19db Totals if they were produced...

Don't forgot to subtract about 1db for cable loss between
the radio and the antenna. You loose about 0.25db per connector and
about 0.5db for a 6ft piece of LMR400.

We've been doing this for just over 2 years now, and the ONLY number
we've ever heard is 36db in FCC territory for PtMP, and about 43-46db
for PtP links.

(SB ABO 17.5db)---(6' LMR400 -1db)---(Pac Wireless 19db)

    17.5
   - 1.0
   +19.0
----------
  = 35.5db

Makes a great client side unit for our 7.5 mile customer.
