2k3 is the stabelest OS in its category, and its insecurities are NOT because of default settings in fact its more secure than many OS's the fact of the matter is everyone uses windows hence more people try to hack it, quite a bit more, hence they find holes in it in no time. But if you realize the fact of the matter is the more used an OS is the more problems that will be found, the portion that makes a company grate is the fact that Microsoft releases service packs and hotfixes for quite a good deal of the problems that are found, personally 2k3 has yet to fail me and has been rock solid in my office running dns web and routing in some small cases oh and running exchange 2k3. But that's just my view please don't flame me back it's my view.
