Seeni,

Are you 100% sure that APPO receives back the info from airbridge and displays. Because I thought APPO was displaying the signal it was seeing from the client.

We have some link that we did not see good signal coming back to APPO and sure enough those link had some problem and we had to put high gain antenna at the client side. Now we check RSSI and link quality at both end. To me it appears that APPO is displaying the signal it is receiving from client. Every one of the link I see big difference in value, at APPO and clients.

So, can you please reconfirm with developer?

Thanks,
Tushar

The value shows in the airbridge considerably good enough to determine the signal level.  In APPO, you will be able see the signal level in the client info TAB. Basically the APPO receives back the info from the airBRIDGE and displays out the values, there may not be shown exactly same as airBridge.

In this we recommend to see the values from the airBridge only.

Thanks

Subject: [smartBridges] Which signal to read?

I have all smartbridge network. I check the signal at the appo and it says 52% rssi and 85 Quality. I log into the airbridge and it tells me it has a 82% RSSI and a 92% Quality. Now I would rather believe the airbridge. But I need to know for sure which one to look at when installing.
