Sort of. Real world testing on my network showed a usefull range (stable
proformance) between two AP using 13db patch panels of about 8-10 miles LOS.
I have a link that is 14 miles that was originaly set up this way. The
primary AP would lose association with the remote APcb and I would have to
send a 'reset' command using simpleMonitor. After changing the remote
antenna to a 24Db grid I have had no more problems. My experience with
smartBridges AP and AB have been that I MUST have a minimum of 57% RSSI or
the radios will lose association on occaion. If you don't mind resetting
them every now and then you can go as low as 35% RSSI and still get good
bandwidth most of the time. Both of these numbers are well below the 80%
RSSI that SB recommends for a stable link. The moral of the story is, If
your link does'nt work as expected and your RSSI is below 80% try to get it
close to 80% before you pull all your hair out and yell at SB :-)

I am speaking of the APPOs. I get that they are 60mW or .6 watts. Witch is
27.8dBm.. You add a 13dBi 90 degree sector antenna. Now. Based on this
you signal would extend out roughly over a 20mile range. You would drop
down to -83dBm around 17-18 and then be scattered depending on line of
sight.

Would this be correct?
