Here are the results of my first attempt.

I have an ABPO that kept losing it's association with the tower. R&R'd the
ABPO with a newer one and so far so good.

The bad ABPO is here in the NOC and I tried my first "fix" using the
downloaded firmware "Wireless Bridge (Ver 0.01.06).rom"

(1) I plugged the ABPO and reset the device using the reset button on the
powerShot.
(2) I was able to log into the unit and did receive the "upgrade"
notification.
(3) I performed the Method 1 and repeatedly received an error stating the
file name was bad.
(4) I tried the same file name from different directories with the same
results.
(5) I then moved onto Method 2 with the same results as method 1.
(6) I opened simpleMonitor and scanned for the ABPO which it found.
(7) Under "Tools" (simpleMonitor) I selected "Upgrade airBridge" and
followed the onscreen menus.
(8) Upgrade was successful

NOTES:
(1) During the upgrade I noticed that I would lose ethernet connection to
the ABPO
(2) Ironic behavior - when I first open simpleMonitor I notice a connection
to the NOC AP. After five seconds or so, the ABPO loses it's connection to
the AP.
(3) Blue light continues to flash at a steady pace at about 1 sec on and 1
sec off. This was happening before and after the upgrade.
(4) I have confirmed that the ABPO is running the Wireless Bridge (Ver
0.01.06).rom

Once the upgrade was completed I am still unable to associate with the NOC
AP for more than 5 seconds.

So, my first effort at this fix did not result in a good solution. I have
two (a ABPOtotal and another ABPO).

More results later.

Just my 2cents
Michael
