I have an idea for a
22 mile link that I would like to submit to the list for feedback. I have two
towers that are within radio LOS but I also have customers between the two
towers that I would like to sell service to. This is the layout I am
considering.
Tower
1
Tower2
AP
-------------------------------------------------------------- Channel 6
--------------------------------------------------- AP in CB
mode
AP in CB mode
-------------------------------------------- Channel 1
--------------------------------------------------- AP

Clients --->
This is a 10Mb
agraget throughput backhaul, 2 bonded pairs, using 24dB grids on each side.
Since I can't shoot a client radio signal from on end to a tower 22 miles away,
I will have an AP on each end so the max client distance is 11 miles which I
know I can do.
Does anyone see any
issues with doing this or should I just find a tower in the middle? Like this
example:
Tower
1
Tower
2
Tower 3
AP
--------------------------------------------------------- APcb <> AP
--------------------------------------------------- APcb
