Hi! A wild guess only!!! It sounds like the search function my be doing a broadcast to detect the clients, and that the clients does not respond to the broadcast?
It could be an idea to do a "subnet ping" (polling) with the search button in the software to "wake up" the radios in your subnet. Maybe have some place to define what subnets you would like the search button to discover devices in??
