If this many of us haven't heard about it, and none of
us are not really devoting that much resources to it,
then chances are pretty good that it doesn't yet exist.

However, considering the times that we live in, it is
probably a prudent business measure to keep track of
these things in logs for about six months to a year.
We've still got dialup logs around here dating back to
1998...

If there is some kind of illegal activity going on with
someone on my network, I certainly want to have the
information to help catch them. At the same time, while
I'm not going to be rude about it, the appropriate warrants
will need to be presented before I release any information.
Realistically it only takes them an hour or so to get a
warrant. Once I've got that, I'll hand them whatever they
need. It just prevents the suspect from coming back to me
and saying "You invaded my privacy, and handed out my personal
information." and then suing me for it. (and likely winning.)
