So we would need to calibrate teh dbm levels to the graphs? All I am asking for is an accurate dbm reading out of the box.
No can do, I think. If I remember the 802.11 specs right only the RSSI value (signal strengt as perceived by the baseband processor in the RF part of the radio) is available, and not the dBm level of the signal at the antenna connector.
Trust the RSSI value, and keep an eye on the detailed wireless stats to spot problems.
