Well.. I'm a newbie, and have been corrected before, but...

You're wanting to communicate with a radio that won't associate? Isn't that like talking to a person that can't hear you? > The second thing would be the ability to remotely "reset" the arp table to > get round the "problem" of people swapping computers too quickly and then > not being able to connect through the unit to the Internet (or wherever). > This sort of reset ought to be fairly easy to do I would have thought. > > Peter I'm not sure what you mean by the remote part.. you want to do that from your NOC? simpleMonitor has a reset button that will do the job ..once you log into the associated radio ;). And if the person's on the phone, just tell them to power-cycle it. That'd be faster than pulling it up in simpleMonitor. (I just got off the phone telling a guy to powercycle his aTOTAL. First time he's power-cycled it since his install ~45 days ago) Tim Foster www.AledoBroadBand.com Aledo's only high-speed ISP The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://archives.part-15.org
