Correct me if I’m wrong but that is
like 328 Feet. You should only run CAT5
300 feet at the most and that’s when your not
running power over Ethernet. I would
look for a 18V power supply. I think you can purchse them at radio shack. -----Original Message----- Hi, I just purchased my first Airpoint
Pro Outdoor – Powered it up fine on my desk. Just got down from installing on my
tower – I have 100Metres of CAT5 and now no power is arriving at the
unit? Is this because I am using the
standard 12V AC Adapter and because of the extra cable length now need 15V.
There is a note in the booklet suggesting that this is best but I am not sure
