As far as we can tell, there are two values. One is the AP->AB LQ/RSSI and the other is AB->AP LQ/RSSI. Both of these numbers will be different but both should be high enough to support a quality link. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Good [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Steve Good Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2003 7:51 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [smartBridges] Is SimpleNMS accurate?
If I use simpleMonitor it is the higher value then when I connect to NMS and look the AP client info. Umm where on the client or on the AP? When I click a client the information is correct, when I click on the client info for an ap there different because those are the Client-> AP values not the AP-> Client values as the client sees it. Chris _____ From: Steve Good [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2003 12:56 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] A quick question, has anyone else noticed how inaccurate SimpleNMS is? I connect to a client radio and they show 80/90 for RSSI and Signal but NMS is showing 40-50/70-80. What is the real signal here? If this is a SimpleNMS issue will it be corrected in future versions. Is a great program but could use some tweaking. Thanks, Steve Good
