Sounds good to me. Any way this change in the lists could also block HTML and just allow plain text? It would have to cut down on the bandwidth and be a bit easier on your server.

Subject: [smartBridges] A NOTE FROM THE LIST DADDY

Hi all

Presently we have about 5000+ members on our various P15 lists and generate in excess of a few thousand messages per month.

Many list members for whatever their personal reasons are elect to receive list traffic through "generic" email addresses. Most of these generic mail boxes have very small size limits to them.

P15 receives up to 1000 rejects/notices per day of returned mail from the use of these generic mailboxes that exceed the members quota or are otherwise undeliverable.

In our effort to keep the lists running smooth, this Friday (August 15th) we plan to disallow list membership for the following addresses:

@yahoo.com
@hotmail.com
@excite.com

I am opening this up for continued conversation in an effort to hear from the list members as to their concerns regarding this new list policy. I will listen to each and every concern and will make the final determination Friday morning.

Regards
Michael
