I am assuming that in "Roaming Mode" ie BSSID set to 000000000000 the clients (airBridge outdoors and airBridge Totals) will associate with which ever of the three AP's gives them the best RSSI and LQ. Is this correct??
Yup. At least in theory.
And if so how do the radios work out which AP is best to associate with?
Don't know the details.
If this is an acceptable design, can you give me your thoughts on what issues may arise or are there problems that it may inherently have that I do not realize.
If an AP goes down, clients that were associated with that AP will jump to an other AP. When the first AP comes back online, the clients won't automatically switch back. That is my experience, at least.
