Ok the mangleing of port's ill really have too look up cause I didn't even see a place where port's could be worked wi. As for the microrouter I will most likely end up getting one of them from you once I figure what also going to need to be done. As for the clients the thing is I want everyone to have a router so I can as was stated before stop worrying about IP's and pppoe this way the router will handle the pppoe connection and also have its own ip and I wont have to worry about clients messing up ip settings they'll just get one from the router, and this way the pppoe is private and always on the router this way even if they fuck up there computer and reinstall they just plug in and there back on account expires disable PPPoE account for that user in the our interface and walla there router can't get logged on and if they don't have pppoe they cant surf either.
As far as I heard the new units are going to be compatible with the old units atleast the clients as far as I know no word on ap - ap OX but that's all good as for the tele's and lucents they are having problems so far we have recalled almost 30 lucent's and about 20 tele's because well there just reaching there life span probably 2 - 2 1/2 years in the field and there starting to be problematic. Poor uplink's no ability to check there statistics for quality, also the tele's aren't configurable from XP only 98 and 2k and I aint degrading my PC back to xp and vmware is sucking my computer dry just to config a tele.
I have been having problems with the AB's as well well not that bad I mean there have been about 5 in total out of 100-150 of them that I have in the field right now that are really showing problems and have been RMA'd one is on my desk right now got to call to ask for an RMA number (long distance again ARGGG) But I believe there are some more radios deployed with problems but really it could be my own stupidity in most cases interference etc there not dead in the least bit.

You need to mangle the ports or the mac then you can based on the flow
mark tag bandwidth limit it. So first mangle with a flow mark (located

Ok. Why should you pay for the clients router ? Not even the telco or
the cable co anywhere that I'm aware of will do that. they might
provide the DSL or cable modem but that is it. If you want multiple
computers online and don't want to pay for additional IPs then you get
a router yourself at your cost. It's your business not mine so you can
do whatever you want but to me it don't sound right.

Something wrong with the tele and lucent clients ? If not I wouldn't
even bother. At current point they probably are more stable then most
of the newer sB units that are coming out.
I thought the new sB line was not going to be compatible with the
