It does accept the firmware if you load it with the AirPoint firmware upgrade software. I still can't get into it with the AirPoint Pro simpleMonitor, so it doesn't accept all of the functionality of an AirPoint Pro, it just accepts the firmware for it's current functionality.   I don't have the pre 1.0.1 version of SimpleNMS so I still don't get the readouts from the clients. :-(   I'll leave it the way it is and see if it reduces the packet loss I've been getting though.. I got an Air Point Indoor to take "Air Point Pro Outdoor firmware 1.4j8" and with SimpleNMS RC2 (version 0.94) I can see the RSSI and Link Quality AND the correct IP addresses of the associated stations ! So.... SB, if your OLDER Release Candidate software can see the RSSI and LQ and IP's of an Air Point INDOOR (abiet with APPO software), why doesn't the 1.1 version of SimpleNMS ??? Come on, you had it working with .94 so fix 1.1 of SimpleNMS. I really LIKE changing an Air Point Indoor to an Air Point Pro Outdoor with a simple software download. At $179.00 for an API vs $330.00 for an APPO I will put it in my own box and external "n" connector. So come on now... I KNOW it can be done cause I'm doing it !
