I'm planning to start updating my AB's
to the latest firmware to implement the watchdog changes. But really im worried
I wouldn't say any of my clients have PERFECT links and some have links
that I'm just not so firmly positive over. And I'm afraid to do
changes to there radio ever since I made a change to a SSID and the damn thing
had gibberish when I went to make the house call. As a note has there been the
implementation yet that if the device is changed remotely and fails to
reassociate it will resort back to its old settings and restart? How reliable is sending the updates
remotely over links that aren't the best of links. I mean does the radio
CRC check it or something before it goes trying to update? I would hate to sit here and send out 10
firmware upgrades only to find out that 8 of them got corrupted on the way and I
have to role trucks to all of them. That's ludacris so please can someone
explain the process that the upgrade from remote does before I go savataging my
own network L Chris |
