Once again its very hard to tell what we have vs. what is already out there SB you guys need to implement a dating system like I had suggested then this whole thing started so people can just look at a unit with a little sticker and tell what year and month it was made in. NO have to rely on you guys to tell us if the MAC address was one of the affected ones etc etc this way we just look and boom we know..

The sticker we used to use was a small 1/2 inch oval at most that had a number and a letter that would correspond to year and month
I.E we would put OK (meaning it was QC'ed) OK 4E so that would mean may 1994 or nowadays 2004 or how ever you want to work it out..

Very simple yet VERY effective and CHEAP!

Subject: [smartBridges] Post-June Units Clarification

Dear Friends,

I notice that some people have started to associate “new chip” products with the new white powder-coated mounting brackets and this cause confusion to others. They are all of the same quality. We started to use the “new chip” since July and the white powder coated mounting bracket only implemented lately.

Again, to help you to identify these "Post June" devices, below are the starting MAC#s for various models.

sB2110 : 00301A 01E2A6 (aBO)

sB2120 : 00301A 0AB4EB (aBT, 13dB antenna)

sB2125 : 00301A 0AFD9F (aBT, 9dB antenna)

sB2100 : 00301A 049DB5 (aBI)

sB2510 : 00301A 093E92 (aPPO)

sB2520 : 00301A 0C36B0 (aPPT, 13dB antenna)

sB2525 : 00301A OC839C (aPPT, 9dB antenna)

With best regards,
