We do not have Tranzeo-CPE so can not comment on the technical aspects. Last week Tranzeo guys said they were sending a unit so we will check it out.
After reading the advisory it sounds like some kind of compatibility issue with this particular model/this particular FW on the CPE. We have had only 1 or 2 guys mention it to us so far so I am assuming that it can not be a very wide spread issue. I am also kind of curious to understand how an aPPO can "cast a spell" across the wireless link and put the CPE to sleep such that even the Ethernet port does not work :-) Nish -----Original Message----- From: Martin Moreno [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 3:58 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [smartBridges] Tranzeo and SB product Is this the problem that someone mentioned earlier with Tranzio or was it Trango compatibility issues? My question is this. If they (tranzeo ) is seeing problems with thier radios going to sleep how is it that this is any different then the SB radios possibly going to sleep as well? It sounds as if the APPO is somehow causing the CPE to fall asleep if there is not activity after 2 hours and they say in this doc that the only cure is to power cycle the radio (tranzio) equipment or awaap out he SB product AP for a tranzeo or any other AP?? Why is the SB AP's causing radios to fall asleep???? Could someone from SB clarify whatr would cause this? http://www.tranzeo.com/support_pdfs/Special%20Customer%20Notice.pdf ----------ANNOUNCEMENT---------- Don't forget to register for WISPCON IV http://www.wispcon.info/us/wispcon-iv/wispcon-iv.htm The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://archives.part-15.org ----------ANNOUNCEMENT---------- Don't forget to register for WISPCON IV http://www.wispcon.info/us/wispcon-iv/wispcon-iv.htm The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://archives.part-15.org
