Hoping someone has a quick answer to this issue that I am currently having.
ABOP with 19dbi panel (CB Mode) POP Location | | | Maybe 2-3 mile lOS link | | ABOP with 24dbi Wire Dish (AP Mode) REMOTE TOWER | | | IN TO A SWITCH then out of the switch to 2 ABOP with 19dbi Sectors The problem we are having is that at our POP the other two radios give the clients the full t-1 when doing speed tests or at least average 600-900k. Now once we go to a client that is connected to one of the other 2 antennas on the Remote tower they are lucky to get 100-400k at the very best. The RSSI on the 2-3 mile link is 80+ and the link quality is 90+ Even if I plug my laptop directly in to the switch at the Remote Tower I still only average 300k MAX. Any Ideas why the bandwidth deteriates so quickly? How many wireless hops or bridges can you get away with and still have a good link. I would like to put one more remote site connected to this Remote Tower but afraid that 2 hops back to the POP might not work. Any help is appreciated.
