Todd,   We have not tried the APPO setup, but have a couple of customers in the same situation.  We installed an aBo at the barn and the customer runs consumer gear (Linksys, D-Link) to their house.  This works well plus allows them to roam on their property.  Are you running vertical or horizontal from the AP at the tower?    Also, the power grid sucks in Colorado, we now require every customer to purchase a $40 Battery BackUPS.  In the barn installs, the customer put all of gear in a plastic tote to keep everything clean.   Chris --- Colorado WISP llc. http://www.cowisp.net Bringing high speed internet to rural communities. AB indoor client unit about 50 yards in front and to the left of the 24 dBi grid.   Both the radios have good rssi and link quality.  Everything ran fine for about 4 hours last night.  This morning the APPO had lost association.   My questions:   If the APPO in repeater mode looses power will it attempt to re-associate on its own when power is restored?   Is this a stupid setup because I have a 24 dBi grid aimed right back at one of our main AP radios in repeater mode?  (When it repeats will it cause issue with the parent device?)   If the APPO in repeater re-associates itself after a power loss, will the AB indoor try and re-associate itself with the repeater?   I’m thinking the power in the barn isn’t all that great and if the APPO needs to be manually re-associated after a power loss this will be a pain in the ass.    Any feedback on repeater mode oddities would be greatly appreciated.  If this turns out to be to flakey, we plan on placing a regular client on the barn and then using a D-Link with an external antenna to shoot back to the house and the AB indoor.    Todd Barber Skylink Broadband Internet [EMAIL PROTECTED] 970-454-9499
