All, What is the deal with not being able to hard set the IP address on an APP. I can ping it on 192.168.0.24 and even get into it and make all the changes to the subnet and default gateway but not the IP. After several attempts it just won't take. I have upgraded to the latest and greatest firmware but no luck.
Also, what secruity vulnerabilities are we seeing on the base .rom. Not the firmware but the baseware. Can these units be hacked? We are seeing lots of funky stuff. Thanks much for any assistance.
