Is there any place in Indy where Brad’s would be considered out of the way? ;-)

I realize I'm a little biased, since I'm from west-central Illinois, but it makes a certain amount of sense to try and keep conventions in the central part of the country, so as to keep most people from having to fly all the way across the country and back.

Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Indianapolis - all are large metro centers with tourist stuff, night life, etc...

There is "NO" WISPCON other than the "real" WISPCON is DallasWWW.WISPCON.INFO Anyone else using that name is most likely already named as a defendant.

Subject: [smartBridges] WISPCON IV Early Bird Registration Ends Today

Hi All

Just a reminder that today (September 30th) is the last day to take advantage of the $100 savings in the Early Bird Registration for WISPCON IV to be held in Dallas Tx Oct 27-29, 2003. To register http://www.wispcon.info/us/wispcon-iv/registration.html

Don't foget to ask your favority distributor or manufacturer for an additional $100 off coupon.

There are lots of preconference activities scheduled: WaveRider, Mikrotik, smartBridges and Redline all have one half-day or all day training scheduled for Sunday the 26th. http://www.wispcon.info/us/wispcon-iv/Sessions/preconference.html

The Moot Court which addresses the interference issues associated with deploying License Exempt Wireless Devices will be hashed out in a four hour mock court trial on Sunday morning (Oct 26th). Real attorney's, real judges, real world scenarios.

Some new highlights/developments about WISPCON IV:

(1) FCC Chairman Michael Powell is tentatively scheduled to provide the Opening Keynote Address.

(2) Other key FCC personnel tentatively scheduled includes Robert Pepper - Chief, Office of Plans and Policy Federal Communications , Robert Cannon - Senior Counsel for Internet Issues Office of Plans and Policy  and Julius Knapp - Deputy Chief, Office of Engineering and Technology (to address the recent Proposed Rule Changes to Part 2 and Part 15)
