Well I had have all the latest firmware on my units. I think if anything needs to be stress tested it is here in town I think at last count we had at LEAST 6 WISPS doing battle trying to get a piece of the pie and I am NOT going to let the beat me.. I may have to go to 5.7 gear pretty quick unless I can get this isolated and resolved. I spend ore and more of my day taking calls from clients trouble shooting and resting units etc. Thats all part of our commitment to them especially like today I don't have to answer my cell phone but I do I care about my clients like I would have liked my 1st WISP would have done for me but then again thats why I now have more customers then them and they are really pissed..   I will say it again customer service is CRUCIAL to keeping a wisp going no matter how tiring it is to you..         ----- Original Message ----- From: Rudolph Worrell To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, October 19, 2003 3:30 PM Subject: RE: [smartBridges] Beta 1.0.08 locking up Ethernet anyone else?? YES, we have seen this behavior recently........the firmware is buggy and SB does not seem to know the meaning of regression testing, so they fix one thing only to have it break something else. Has anyone else seen this on any of the ABO or ABI units? I have had a few now that have NO more problems with reassociation to the tower yet about 2 -3 times a week the Ethernet TRANSMIT side shuts down as far as the statistics show when you log into the radio. It reports 1 and if you look at the receive side it is in the hundreds of thousands of bytes..   If you simply software reboot the radio it comes back alive and traffic starts to pass and both sides increment transmit and receive for a few days then it locks up again. It almost seems like when it auto reboots it does not bring up the Ethernet all the way. I have downgraded to 1.0.07 to confirm that it is in the firmware.
