If you are wondering if the FCC would consider this an antenna then yet.
An antenna (to the FCC) is any intentional or non-intentional radiator.
Basicly, that means that anything that shapes RF energy is considered an
antenna and can be governed by the FCC. It is still a good thought, and
can actually help if designed right.

Subject: [smartBridges] Reflectors

My competitor in town is using Canopy gear.. I've seen some DSS
styled
pie pan reflectors in use at some of his sights.. While in IRC last
night,
I was chatting with a guy that used to live in the Bay Area, and he said
they were playing with them out there with 2.4 gear.. My question is, if
I
attach a ABOT to a reflector, would the reflector be considered part of
the antenna? Just a thought for better penetration..

have any MCSEs on my books at the moment, but I could call around."
