Yes.. Thats what weird. We actually got to the web interface and asked for a cold shutdown re-boot via that interface.. And it stated it was going to shutdown and kicked us off. We then tried and tried telnet and ssh.. no go, then went back to the web and it was reporting the box had been up for 41 days (i.e. where was our cold shutdown / restart that we just requested?).. so its going to take a true power cycle we think to let it get its brain back.
All of our cisco's have been acting funny since the "solar storm" so we are blaming it on them (rightfully or wrongfully so..) We think they all need a re-boot. (Also have on e other denying telnet, but web and ssh works.. and one other that won't let us in at all.. The last one ssh to (and it does the ssh port negotiation, username / password and all) but then where you have to hit enter a few times to get the "box login" it freezes after the third time you hit enter... still responds to the ":Close" command... very weird...
