We got a couple of APPi's to work in wireless
bridge mode once when we were testing them. I can't remember the secret now as
it was a while back. As I understand it the wireless bridge mode allows a link
between two radios but does not use all the handshake/protocol stuff that
is used in the other modes, thus throughput is higher.
A radio in client bridge mode can only talk to a
radio in Access point mode, but you can have multiple client bridges talking to
the one access point.
