I have a tower running with both a Pac 9db Omni and a 19db grid shooting another tower 5.24 miles away.  Currently, the remote tower has two 14db 160* sectors and a 19db grid shooting back to tower 1.

We are thinking about putting another tower, this would be tower3 in about 2 miles from our main tower.  Currently, we have our APPO with the 19db grid on Tower1 in CB mode, set to 11meg, no auto fall back, and the API with the grid on Tower2 in AP mode.

We just added a amp to our omni and now we get better signal with our API on Tower2 in CB mode to the Omni.

Question 1:  Can I run AP mode on the omni, and let API's in CB modes on Tower2 and 3.?

Both of these towers can assoicte when the omni is set to  11meg only. Would this give us plenty of backend bandwidth, we are only running 1 T1 currently.

Or is there a better way of doing this?
