btw. sattelites used to use this schema:
odd channels were horizontal polarization
even channels were vertical polarization

Thanks to this, the channels could be closer to each other without any "leaks" between them.

Switching the polarization did a -30db signal atenuation when I tested it. I
recommend using horizont polarization
but different channels too. e.g. 4 and 9. This should provide enough
separation of signals.

But horizontal pol. omnis are more expensive than vertical. (maybe you are
shooting with directional ants from the hills).

Subject: [smartBridges] Horizontal Polarity

We are using APPO's and on a particular hilltop we have 3 vertical polarized
APPO's using channels 1,6,11 seperated by 10-20 feet.

We are getting close to maxing out all 3 access points with users. Would it
be possible to re-use these channels with Horizontal polarized antennas?

If so what kind of seperation would I need to keep from causing myself
interference.

Thanks in advance for your help,
