Hello.
I have an all SB network made up of mainly APPT and ABT's - I
am seeing problems with the hidden node - the network is designed in such as a
way that the backhaul links act like a motorway and the Client Acccess Points
act like a slip road onto the motorway (which is segregrated into 3 independent
chunks) - When a device sends its RTS to the Access Point, is this sent just to
its associated access point or are the RTS packets passed through the access
point, onto the motorway, effectively closing down the rest of the
network?

Subject: [smartBridges] Wireless equipment and IP-Cop? OK here is the problem.
VPN set up and working between IP-Cop 1.3 on ADSL
and IP-Cop 1.2 on ISDN (trust me this works)
PC[192.168.100.100]---IP-Cop(1.3)-ADSL~~~~ISDN-IP-Cop(1.2)|----PC2[192.168.102.100]
|----Wireless device[192.168.102.20]
OK so from the PC I can ping PC2 but cannot ping
Wireless Device
However when I ssh into IP-Cop(1.2) from PC I can
ping both PC2 and Wireless Device and PC.
PC2 can also ping Wireless Device and
PC.
Why does the smartBridges airPoint PRO not have
it's data passed over the VPN in the same way that PC2 does?
Wayland.
