The SF logging and where to get to it is described in the sfLogging document
supplied in the installation, so I would start there. I can't remember what
logging the example does, but setting the log level appropriately will show
core SF logging around deployment actions and the like.

A useful tool for such situations is the sfManagementConsole that allows you to
introspect a remote daemon and view the components that are running and their
attributes. The description for how to use it is in the sfUserManual and the
binary to start it is in the bin directory. You will have to install SmartFrog
on the client, though, since it uses the mechanisms provided to interact with
the remote daemon.

Hope this helps... if not get back to me

Subject: [Smartfrog-users] Log of smartfrog

Hello again,

As i'am using linux operating system without GUI i want to test if the dynamic
server is running or not.
I ran it but i can not figure out if it is running or not.
Are there any logs at the smartfrog spec i can dig in?
