I've modified the Solaris template to monitor zpool status and set off a notification trigger if the zpool goes into a degraded state. I also setup some monitoring graphics/reports to track the primary zones zpools usage. I disabled all of the individual zvol monitors in the Solaris template, as they don't do much for me. I want to try and setup some monitoring for vms using vmadm, but I'm not sure yet what would be worth monitoring. Part of me is saying to just setup Zabbix agents in the vms themselves and not worry about whats going on with vmadm. Given I'm in modification mode, I'm open to requests?
