Hi folks, If you do not build your own SmartOS platform images, you can ignore this message.
tl;dr: when next updating smartos-live.git, update all other repositories as well; i.e. use a top-level "gmake update". Hopefully this will be the last cross-repository flag day for mancheck for some time. Previously, the mancheck tool contained exception lists within the C source of the program. When changes were made to shipped (or more importantly: built, but unshipped) manual pages in other repositories the mancheck source had to be updated, causing a flag day. The mancheck configuration relevant to each repository now lives within the repository itself, and is read as part of constructing the platform image with "gmake live". In order to facilitate this, a new "gmake mancheck_conf" target has been added to all repositories. If you don't update before trying to build, this step will fail. Cheers. -- Joshua M.
